MISSION OF THE SPICEWOOD LONG TERM RECOVERY COMMITTEE

Our mission is to bring together voluntary organizations to assist residents affected by wildfires, to coordinate service delivery planning, and to eliminate unnecesary duplication of services to people affected by the Spicewood Labor Day Wildfires.

OBJECTIVES:

• to provide residents with spiritual and emotional care
• management for rebuilding
• community care through case management
• home repairs according to unmet needs funding

The Spicewood LTRC is governed by a Board made up of community members. The LTRC itself has representation from many community churches, civic groups, as well as a variety of community and governmental organizations.

All Meetings of the LTRC are open to the public.  The agendas and minutes for all meetings will be posted on this website.  The public is invited (encouraged) to attend and participate in the Spicewood Community’s recovery efforts. All LTRC meetings are held at the Grace Outreach Family Church, 20808A Highway 71, Spicewood, 78669.
